TRIPTYCH — PORTRAITS #145, #146, AND #147 Series: The 1000 Faces Technique: Acrylic on canvas Year: 2026 Original and unique triptych, composed of three canvases In this triptych I gather three female figures that dialogue through yellow, blue, and cream. I develop each portrait on a vertical, elongated canvas, creating a relationship between the pieces through stylized necks, the black shapes of the hair, and small red accents on the lips. In Portrait #145 I build a figure with the face slightly tilted, divided between cream and blue. The black hair forms a broad silhouette that frames the gaze, while a circular red earring concentrates attention on one side of the face. The yellow background and the large light-curved shape at the top bring luminosity, in contrast with the deep blue of the clothing. In Portrait #146 I present a figure with an open gaze, with the face divided between cream and yellow. The side bun and the blue rectangular earring introduce a dialogue between curves and straight lines. I use the light blue of the background and the dark blue of the neckline to balance the large yellow surface that runs across the bottom of the composition. In Portrait #147 I explore asymmetry with one eye open and the other closed. The black hair rises in a curved form with sculptural presence, while the yellow circular earring connects the face with the background. I alternate planes of blue and cream and a diagonal black band that links the neck with the clothing. I work the set from a neocubist and hard-edge language, using defined outlines and broad color surfaces. The curves of the hairstyles and earrings contrast with the angular structure of the noses and the divisions of the faces. I aim for each figure to retain its personality and for the three, viewed together, to build a shared rhythm. This triptych is part of my series The 1000 Faces, a developing project with the goal of gathering one thousand original, numbered, and irreproducible portraits. In each painting I explore a different identity through geometric fragmentation, color, and simplification of forms. To ensure safe transport, I ship the three canvases carefully protected and rolled inside a sturdy tube. The works are delivered without stretchers. WORK FILE Title: Triptych — Portraits #145, #146, and #147 Series: The 1000 Faces Technique: Acrylic on canvas Year: 2026 Format: Triptych composed of three canvases Condition: Original and unique works Delivery: Three canvases sent rolled in a protective tube, without stretchers ARTISTIC SERIES: THE 1000 FACES The 1000 Faces is my developing artistic project, conceived as a collection of one thousand original portraits, numbered and completely distinct from each other. Through this series I explore human identity and the multiple ways a face can express character, emotions, experiences, and inner states. I construct each character through a particular combination of lines, geometric shapes, and color relationships. Although I maintain a recognizable visual language across the collection, I develop for each face its own composition, personality, and chromatic balance. Each painting occupies a unique place within the whole. With the fragmentation of the face I seek to show identity from different perspectives. I use color planes to explore the facets that can coexist within the same person: strength and vulnerability, serenity and tension, reality and imagination. My goal is for each work to function independently and, at the same time, to form part of a much broader universe. When I complete the series, the thousand portraits will build a visual archive dedicated to diversity, individuality, and the complexity of being human. In this triptych I delve into the relationship between three different presences that share a common language. Portraits #145, #146, and #147 connect through color, while their gazes, hairstyles, and accessories preserve the individuality of each character. I will not reproduce them as other original works from the series. This lot contains AI-generated visualizations. Refer to the original photographs to verify the true condition of the work.
