Marc Chagall (1887-1985) - Vers l’autre clarté

Marc Chagall (1887-1985) Towards the Other Light 1984 Original color lithograph Signed with the artist's seal Numbered / 1000 copies On Arches velin 63 x 48 cm Authenticated by the artist's dry seal REFERENCES : Mourlot Catalogue raisonné #1050 INFORMATION : This is the last lithograph etched by Chagall, completed a few hours before his death. This work is particularly touching in its subject matter, with great softness, showing the painter at the palette, already winged, finishing the painting of a couple (self-portrait with his wife) while the angel descends from Heaven and is about to accompany him on his final journey. Excellent conditio
