Mara. J XXL - Carnelian Dusk

From above, a rain of leaves in apricot, peach, and copper hues descends, a dense, warm weave that seems to hold back the last light of the day. As it falls, the tones grow more intense, full orange and golden ochre, until the leaves begin to veil themselves in lavender and lilac. At the bottom the color gathers into a deep, velvety indigo, where the last vegetal traces barely emerge, almost transparent. The vertical format guides the eye in this slow descent, from warmth to coolness. The surface, built up with textured, grainy layers, vibrates with every shift of light. A soft, luminous work, like the moment when sunset dissolves into the evening. Signed and dated 2026 on the bottom right Image dimensions: 150 x 55 cm Total canvas size: 160 x 65 cm The artwork is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube. The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively on request, in digital format. Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and moods through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid, suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
