Elegant Napoleon III-era pedestal clock (late 19th century). Materials: Solid black marble body framed with dark green veined marble pillars and corners. Dial & Signature: White enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours, minute marks, signed "Burnot Perrin" at the center. Brocot escapement visible with a pin at the center of the dial. Bezel in gilded brass under convex glass. Mechanism: French clock movement with strike on a bell. Winding key included. Condition & Operation Antique item in good overall condition: Function: Tested for 24 hours: the mechanism runs and the strike sounds normally on the hour and on the half-hour. Structure & Marble: Small nicks and signs of use or age on the edges and the patina of the marble.
