Mantel clock - Art Deco - Coromandel, Oak - 1930-1940

A beautiful Art Deco clock pendulum. The clock mechanism recently had a maintenance service; it runs and chimes now as it should. It chimes once every half hour and the full number on the hour. This is produced by a hammer on the round gong, which gives a rich, full sound. Despite its advanced age, the oak wooden clock case is in very neat, undamaged condition, adorned with brass strips and knobs and finished with Coromandel wood parts, which are characteristic of the Art Deco period. The clock is sold complete with a pendulum and winding key, and is very well packaged for shipping but only within Europe.
