The Tricolor is the symbol of Italy in the world and represents its national pride: the Red symbolizes blood, the suffering of all those who pursued the dream of freedom and fought for Italy’s unification; the White represents the Catholic faith of Italians and symbolizes the Alps with their great glaciers; the Green is the hope of a free and united Italy, the desire of many Italians who lost their lives pursuing this deep value, and it is the green of the Mediterranean scrub, the typical landscape of our country.
