Magazine rack - Wood, ant, Plastic - Magazine holder Italy

This is a characteristic vintage Mid-Century Modern newspaper rack (or magazine rack) from the 1950s or 1960s. This specific model is designed in a distinctive Italian retro style, strongly reminiscent of Cesare Lacca's designs. Features of this object: • Material: Made from wooden (often beech) slats with a handle at the top. • Design: The frame is stretched with striking colored plastic or rubber cords (scoubidou style) that hold the magazines in place. • Base: A sleek blue wooden base plate with a black band on small feet.
