1944 Sin Chon 100 Patacas Serial Number 00088! MACAU (SAR). Banco Nacional Ultramarino. 100 Patacas, 5.2.1944. P-26. KNB32a. PMG Very Fine 30 Net. Rust. Fancy serial number 00088! Printed by Sin Chon & Cia in Macau during the closing years of World War II, this is a remarkable survivor from those tumultuous times. A rather simple yet famous design, in red and orange, with printed manuscript signatures on the lower left and right. PMG has only graded eight examples to date, and despite this note being VF-30 NET, this is one of the highest grades extant, confirming how rare this denomination is. PMG Comments "Rust."
