Luxurious Vintage Ring With Emerald & Diamonds in White Gold, c. 1950

It is a unique green, intense and powerful, which awakens emotions. It is the colour of nature, strong growing plants, spring and hope. It is a luminous colour, deep and yet bright, in which you want to immerse yourself, lose yourself and which reveals a new world at every glance. The ring here presents an emerald in this very colour, a natural emerald, very clear, with a slight jardin. The ring frames the emerald with no less impressive arrangement of sparkling diamonds with a total weight of 1.52 ct. The diamonds, arranged in a cross shape, are shaped in brilliant, carré and baguette cuts. This firework of white enhances the impact of the green stone, as its colour only seems more striking. The settings and ring band are made of brightly radiant white gold. The transverse ring face offer the stones an optimal stage to work. According to its design language, which is still indebted to the late Art Deco, and the first-class workmanship by hand, we date the ring to the years around 1950. It came to us from the Rhineland. We had the quality of the emerald examined by an independent laboratory in Idar-Oberstein. The appraisal, which confirms the materials and value of the ring, is included with the piece.
