Luxurious Vintage Gold Bracelet, Italian, c. 1960

Italy is an old jewelry nation. The north of the country in particular, in the provinces of Alessandria, Vicenza and Arrezzo, is home to many medium-sized companies that have centuries of expertise and are still famous for their high-quality jewellery. The "Vicenza Oro" trade fair, where Italian products are presented to the international trade public, is also known far beyond Italy's borders. This vintage bracelet is a fine example of such Italian-manufactured jewellery. It was created around 1960 and shows the Italian preference for luxurious gold bracelets. The wide band is composed of movable links and corresponds to the type of classic "brick bracelet", whose structure is reminiscent of golden brickwork. This results in a varied interplay of light refraction, giving the piece of jewelry a magnificent appearance. The piece of jewelry is solid and beautifully executed, with two rows of polished links accompanying a row of textured links. It lies softly on the arm and leaves a magnificent impression: a first-class piece in beautiful condition - Italian chic for the wrist!
