Luis Enrique González (XX) - Petirrojo en reposo

Luis Enrique González A European robin (Erithacus rubecula) perches on a bare branch, captured with loose brushwork and visible impasto. The intensely orange chest contrasts with the grayish plumage of the back and the whitish belly, while the atmospheric background of grays, purples and soft ochers surrounds the figure without competing with it. The centered composition and square format reinforce a sense of stillness and direct observation. Work executed entirely by hand. Includes certificate of authenticity. It is shipped rolled in a rigid transport tube for maximum protection. The artwork is shipped without a frame, rolled and protected in a transport tube, to ensure its preservation. Images with a frame are for reference only; the frame is not included in the sale.
