Luigi Basile (1950) - Imponente Marina Napoletana con Pescatori e Velieri - XL

Splendid and imposing oil painting on canvas depicting an evocative coastal seascape in the Neapolitan school, by the master Luigi Basile. The work, of considerable size (70 x 100 cm), stands out for its dramatic, luminous composition and striking visual impact: in the foreground are typical wooden boats with fishermen at work, while in the background rise towering cliffs and hilltop villages, with graceful sailing ships crossing calm waters beneath a clear sky. The color palette ranges from the warm tones of the rocks to the emerald green of the sea, highlighting the artist’s skill in capturing the reflections of light on the water and the distinctive atmosphere of the Mediterranean.
