Luca Cartoonist, registered name Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney foremost), he graduated in advertising graphics at the Istituto d'arte di Ascoli Piceno and then completed his artistic studies earning a degree in comic and illustration from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different (though always artistic) career path, until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art. He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them within current situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today. He mainly uses acrylic colors, spray cans, and mixed techniques of printing and collage on canvas. Since 2021 he has collaborated with several Italian art galleries, and he participates with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…) It is possible to follow his work by visiting the Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook pages "luca.cartoonist"
