Active throughout the second half of the century, she made her mark in modern art with a delicate and colorful academic style, sometimes recalling Renoir. Her artistic universe centers mainly on two major themes: female nudes and landscapes. Her depictions of young undraped girls stand out for their poetic treatment and great anatomical softness. In parallel, she captured urban life through emblematic Parisian views, such as the Pont Saint-Michel and Notre-Dame. Traveling and exhibiting regularly, her works were notably presented at the Salon Berruyer in Bourges. Her paintings, characterized by luminous scenes and evocative titles like La vie en rose, reflect a post-impressionist sensibility. Usually signing her oils on canvas at the bottom of the composition, she built a sought-after production for its timeless charm. Today, her creations continue to appear regularly in the catalogs of French auction houses.
