Of traditional meiping form, with a broad rounded shoulder tapering towards the foot and a short cylindrical neck, decorated in black enamels against a vibrant turquoise ground. The body features three shaped panels, two depicting scholars in landscape settings, the other a crane amongst flowering plants, surrounded by scrolling floral and foliate motifs. Height: 27cm.
