Lorenzo Mattotti - 76ª Mostra Cinematografica di Venezia - 2000s

Official original manifesto of the 76th Venice International Film Festival (La Biennale di Venezia), held in 2019. ** Reserve Price 50 euros ** The image is plate-signed by Lorenzo Mattotti, one of the most important Italian illustrators and cartoonists of contemporary times, an artist of international renown. Through a simple yet strongly symbolic composition, Mattotti depicts a film crew filming a couple embracing on board a boat, turning a everyday scene into a poetic reflection on the power of cinema to tell emotions and reality. An official image of great elegance, among the most appreciated in the recent graphic production of the Venice Biennale. This is the official original poster for the promotion of the 76th Venice International Film Festival. An authentic specimen, intended for the institutional communication of the event and today highly sought after by collectors of cinema, authorial graphic design, and original posters. The illustrated photos included in the insert were produced solely for illustrative purposes to show the artwork in context.
