In sehr gutem, unbeschädigtem Originalzustand. | LOHÉ, YVES (1947) “Two Fish in a Coral Reef” Patinated and partially polished bronze combined with solid art glass, colored throughout in vivid shades of blue, yellow, and green. Mounted on an irregular relief-decorated bronze plinth in the form of a seabed with stylized wave or coral structures. A vertically ascending maritime composition. Rising from the organically shaped bronze plinth is a large angelfish or coral fish made of polychrome art glass. The elaborate layering of colors transitions fluidly from deep ocean blue through rich green to a luminous yellow at the tips of the fins. Attached closely to the glass body is a smaller, finely detailed fish made of patinated bronze, whose richly textured dorsal fin extends dynamically upward. The reverse side of the blue glass body bears an engraved signature “Lohe.” Height: approx. 46 cm. In very good, undamaged original condition. The composite mounting between glass and bronze is stable. The glass element displays brilliant coloration and is free from chips or losses, with the characteristic air bubble inclusions typical of this glassmaking technique visible within the solid glass. SHIPPING TO THE USA MUST BE ARRANGED BY THE BUYER.
