Legras & Cie

François-Théodore Legras (1839-1916) Art Nouveau vase with a polychrome floral relief decoration, its hexagonal neck shape and satin pink-toned background make it a superb decorative element easy to integrate into an interior. Circa: 1900 / 1915 Dimensions: Height: 25.5 cm Base diameter: 8 cm Neck diameter: 7.5 / 8.5 cm Weight: 645 g The floral decoration: The vase is adorned with bouquets of five-petaled flowers, whose centers are orange and white. The leaves are deeply cut and have very pronounced veins. The decoration evokes stylized flowers, possibly geraniums, but botanical identification remains uncertain. Golden outlines highlight the flowers and foliage, enhancing their relief. The composition is typical of the Art Nouveau taste: botanical motifs, contrasting colors, and a pursuit of decorative effects. The vase is in very good overall condition (no cracks, chips, or breaks…) just a few signs of normal wear due to its age. Very careful extra-protected shipping!
