Leandro Olano - Señora de las Fieras

"Lady of the Beasts": The face, painted straight on and with a very pale blue gaze that holds the viewer's without looking away, is framed by a ceremonial headdress in reds and ochres, loaded with beads and a headband with colored stones. A necklace of red and turquoise beads falls over an equally red mantle. Around her, two felines —one with a serene gesture, its head resting beside the headdress; the other with jaws open and an alert expression— build an unstable symmetry: the same woman calms one and seems to provoke the alarm of the other. The palette, warm and saturated in oranges and ochres, is set against a background of deep blues that lets the central figure dominate. Artwork by Leandro Olano, entirely handmade. Technique: Acrylic on canvas Dimensions: 57.5 x 41 cm Authorship: 100% handmade Certificate: Certificate of authenticity included Shipping: Unstretched, shipped in a professional transport tube for maximum protection "Note: the images show the framed and mounted work only as a guide, to illustrate how it might look when framed and hung.
