She climbs the lime-whitewashed steps, straw bag on her shoulder, and she turns around. One more step and she disappears behind the wall. Bougainvillea overflows above the blue doors. She looked at something behind her — someone following her, or simply the sea, one last time. Down to the right, a blue dome and the caldera. No one else in the alley. White on white, the whole tableau: lime in the sun, lime in the shade, lime in the hollows. The cast shadows are blue, never gray, and the magenta of the flowers is the only shout of the canvas. Le Yack, French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a art director in publishing and web. Instagram @leyack45.
