Beautiful manual-wind mechanical watch by LE COURRIER, model EXTRA PLATE (ultra-thin), kept in excellent condition from the 1960s (1960-1965). Fully functioning, keeps good time, brown dark leather strap. The LE COURRIER brand is part of those historic watchmaking houses that produced pieces of high technical quality. MECHANISM: manual-wind mechanical movement with 18,000 Hz fully functional. Power reserve 38-42 hours. Keeps good time at +20/-20 seconds in 24 hours. Note that proper timekeeping varies by location. This watch has been tested in Central Italy CASE: Gold-plated. Size 36 mm including crown, 34 mm excluding crown, lug width 18.0 mm. Snap-on steel case back with the manufacturer’s logo. DIAL: Original with a splendid light champagne color, hours marked with Arabic numerals for even hours and baton markers for odd hours. Hour and minute hands baton-style, central seconds. Graphic: at 10 o’clock the inscription "Le Courrier - Extra Plate - Super de Laxe". Steel snap-on back of a different brand. Plexiglass crystal with no notable scratches. STRAP: Brown leather, used but in good condition, with a steel gold-colored buckle and tang, suitable for a wrist circumference from 15.5 to 19 cm. MISCELLANEOUS: Ready to be worn daily.
