Ldm - Balloon Dog – Air Jordan & Skate Culture | American Sports Pop Art

Original contemporary sculpture dedicated to American sports culture, a work that merges in a single composition basketball, skateboard, sneaker culture, street art and collecting. The protagonist is a Balloon Dog completely reinterpreted through a vibrant graffiti and urban art style graphics, characterized by bright colors, lettering and numerous allusions to streetwear culture. The work pays homage to two worlds that have profoundly shaped American sport and urban culture: basketball and skateboarding. The composition is in fact enriched by a miniature skateboard on which the sculpture rests, and by a mini collectible sneaker accompanied by a small decorative package inspired by the Air Jordan universe. The reference to Jordan culture inevitably recalls the history of American basketball and the NBA, an universe in which sneakers have transitioned from being simple athletic footwear to true collectible icons, becoming an integral part of pop culture and international streetwear. Particularly interesting is the contrast between the playful shape of Balloon Dog, the graffiti graphics and the sports-related elements: a contaminatio n between Pop Art, basketball, skate culture and sneaker collecting that gives the work a strong contemporary character. An original creation with great visual impact, ideal for collectors of American sports memorabilia, basketball enthusiasts, Air Jordan, skateboard, sneaker culture and contemporary urban art. The sneaker and the packaging visible in the photographs are miniature elements used within the artistic composition and help emphasize its link to American sports and street culture. Work offered in exactly the conditions visible in the photographs. Professional shipment. The work will be carefully protected and packaged for transport and shipped with a traceability code.
