This object is a Lalique crystal component of a chemin de table in the iconic "Festons" model. This specific design was created in 1939 by the famous French glass artist René Lalique (1860–1945). The model is characterized by the distinctive, undulating scalloped edge ("festons") with finely incised ridges and decorative details.
