Please take a close look at all the photos. The Lady Amherst's Pheasant (Chrysolophus amherstiae) is a galliform bird species in the Phasianidae family. The species is named after the countess and naturalist Sarah Amherst, wife of William Pitt Amherst, Governor-General of India, who was responsible for sending the first specimen to London in 1828. It is also called Amherst's Pheasant. It is native to southwestern China and Burma, but has been introduced in other countries. There is, in particular, a small population in England, in Bedfordshire. The taxidermy of this bird, presented with its wings spread, is in perfect condition.
