Take a good look at all the photos. The Lady Amherst's Pheasant (Chrysolophus amherstiae) is a species of galliform birds in the Phasianidae family. The species is named after the countess and naturalist Sarah Amherst, wife of William Pitt Amherst, Governor-General of India, who was responsible for sending the first specimen to London in 1828. It is also known as Amherst's Pheasant. It is native to southwest China and Burma, but has been introduced in other countries. In particular, there is a small population in England, in Bedfordshire. As for the Golden P pheasant (Chrysolophus pictus), it is also a species of birds in the Phasianidae family, in the order Galliformes. It is native to China and has been introduced to Great Britain, but its natural habits remain rather poorly known. The male sports a very colorful plumage, which has made it a common bird in aviaries and zoos.
