Labelled Matthias Albanus - - Violin - Unknown

Hello, dear customer. You have here the possibility, to buy an old violin with label and LION HEAD. On the pictures is to be seen, that it is an old and amazing instrument. It is a full size violin (whole length: 587 mm, body: 354 mm, upper bouts: 169 mm; middle bouts: 113 mm; lower bouts: 213 mm) with label inside: Matthias Albanus fecit Bulfani in Tyroli 1696 The violin is in a very good condition, but there is one repaired crack under the tailpiece!!! Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind.
