Kuifje 12 - De 7 Kristallen Bollen - A47 - 1 Album - First edition - 1948

Offered is the twelfth Tintin album 'The Seven Crystal Balls', in the very first edition from 1948. This first edition is listed in the Ottens catalog as 2.1 and can be recognized, among other things, by the back with 'Ottens A47'. Also noteworthy is the mummy on the title page (see photos). Immediately after the first edition (still in 1948) a second edition was released with Haddock on the title page. This lot therefore concerns the coveted first edition with the mummy (see also photos). Condition: wonderful! Cover, corners, spine and edges are in excellent condition, with only very light wear. Also to be noted are the beautifully bright colors of the yellow spine, often a flaw with this album. The book block is in magnificent condition, with a few rare tiny light reading creases. Top well-preserved album. Extremely nice collector's album, certainly in this condition. Shipping = insured.
