Krug, Private Cuvee Reserve - Champagne Brut - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

Krug Private Cuvée Brut – Vintage Champagne – Reims – Silver Firenze – 75cl – 1 Bottle A rare vintage bottle of Krug Private Cuvée Brut Champagne from Reims, France, imported into Italy by Silver S.A.S. of Florence. KRUG PRIVATE CUVÉE Champagne Brut Reims, France Approx. 75cl Historic Italian-market bottling Imported by Silver S.A.S. – Firenze Private Cuvée was the historic name used by Krug for its prestige non-vintage Champagne before the introduction of the name Grande Cuvée in 1978. This bottle therefore belongs to the pre-1978 era and is believed to date from the 1970s. The bottle retains its original historic Krug presentation, including the distinctive gold embossed capsule, original neck and front labels, and the original Italian state tax marking. Condition: The bottle is in good condition for its age. The original labels show natural signs of ageing and minor patina. The gold capsule and original Italian tax seal are aged but remain substantially intact. The remaining wine level appears very good, around the upper shoulder/neck area. There are no obvious signs of leakage. The photographs form an integral part of the description and show the exact bottle offered. The bottles have been properly stored in a cellar and come from a private collection. Please note that the contents of this vintage Champagne have not been tested. No guarantee can be given regarding drinkability or the condition of the wine after several decades.
