This is a very rare Japanese Kokeshi doll, made by the artist call Misui (美水). It is called 'Spring in the old town' (Koto no Haru) and comes from a private Japanese collector in Nara, Japan. It has an amazing Art Deco style, which is not often seen in Kokeshi dolls. A beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship! Estimated to be at least 50 years old, it is in excellent shape. It comes in the original box, which is an artwork by itself! Signed and stamped by the artist. An extra gift from us is the wooden, black and gold lacquered stage. Size: 16 x 6 x 6 cm.
