A writer, philosopher, and draftsman, Pierre Klossowski developed a unique body of work, dominated by the staging of characters with theatrical poses and by an exploration of the relationships between desire, representation, and transgression. His colored-pencil compositions, often large in format, maintain a close dialogue with his literary work. A good copy, with a few slight signs of wear on the cover.
