I chose to work with morning light, because it is the light that softens fabrics and pastel colors. The biggest challenge was letting the vibrancy of the embroidery and clothes coexist with the calm of the room, without one disturbing the other. I chose EMA Fine Art paper because its completely matte finish renders pastels without reflection, like a page from an illustrated book.
