Tutte le aste / Arte Contemporanea / Kirsty Wain (XX) - Still Life with Azure Blossoms - No Reserve
An expressive, highly vibrant original contemporary still life painting by artist Kirsty Wain. Executed in bold acrylics on paper, this work draws inspiration from the vivid color palette of Fauvism and the dynamic brushwork of Neo-Impressionism. The composition features an exuberant bouquet of rich cobalt, ultramarine, and sky-blue blossoms constructed with rhythmic, pointillist-inspired marks that emerge from an intricately decorated ceramic vase. Set against a lively, textured bubblegum-pink backdrop and resting on a deep blue surface, the striking contrast of saturated hues creates an eye-catching, joyous work that immediately commands attention. Frame not included About the Artist Kirsty Wain is a British painter currently living and working in Spain. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, her work offers an expressive, emotive interpretation of the surrounding environment. Drawing strong inspiration from Post-Impressionism and the bold colour theory of Fauvism, Wain uses vibrant hues, textured application, and fluid line work to capture the intrinsic energy, spirit, and light of a location. Her paintings, frequently focused on ancient olive groves, hillside pines, and sweeping terrains—seek to translate fleeting personal moments and deep emotional ties to place directly onto the canvas. Wain’s distinct visual language continues to gain international visibility, and her paintings are held in private collections around the world. ´ I love colour. I love nature. I love art. Together, they are my language. ´ K Wain 2025 Artist Profile & Education Background: British contemporary landscape painter based in Spain, combining her artistic practice with a long-standing career in art education.
