ICELOLLO TABLE SCULPTURE SPLASH – FLUO FUCHSIA by the Italian artist “KIRAS,” a pop art artist with internationally sold works The sculpture is made of bioplastic using 3D technology; bioplastic is a plant-based material such as sugarcane, therefore of totally natural origin and with no environmental impact. The piece is entirely handcrafted to achieve a glossy, smooth final effect, a meticulous, fully manual job of polishing, filling, and varnishing that ultimately yields a perfect artwork even though it is based on simple materials. The stick is also made of bioplastic mixed with real wood. The popsicle is lacquered in FLUO FUCHSIA acrylic, created with simple, environmentally friendly materials without sacrificing the strong aesthetic impact the piece must have to convey its message. The question a viewer might ask is… ceramic? No, it’s bioplastic! but the visual result you’ll have will be the same… ;-) A lengthy, fully artist-made manual process also includes a second guideline… the creation of extremely limited editions. KIRAS works are made by the artist, who not only signs them but also oversees the entire process. It is therefore a prerogative to produce series of only a few dozen pieces, the only way to ensure that it is truly the artist who created them. Buyers will have the certainty of owning a nearly unique piece in their home… only a few dozen sold worldwide, a unique item in your home! In this case the edition is only 20 units per color. The dimensions are approximately 19x18x17.5 cm. Design piece MADE IN ITALY in a clear POP style! “KIRAS” exhibits in various art galleries in Italy and abroad and presents his works at contemporary art fairs such as ART3F, ARTEPADOVA, ARTPARMA fair, and others… Artwork signed and numbered, supplied with certificate of authenticity and the artist’s branded box. The piece is conceived and created by the artist with manual, artisanal work; small imperfections may be due to the manual process but do not affect the final result.
