Keep on going -1 - Elena Done

Keep on going -1 by Elena Done Painting 23.6 x 36.2 :: my work is rooted in the tension between abstraction and figuration where the boundaries between form and formlessness blur inviting the viewer into an intense often chaotic visual experience. I am fascinated by the fluidity of paint itself its ability to evoke both visceral emotion and fleeting moments of narrative. My brushstrokes are deliberate yet spontaneous capturing the raw energy of human existence sexuality and mortality often drawing on art history from the Masters of Russian avant-garde to Abstract Expressionism as I reinterpret those traditions through a modern lens. My liquid lines keep moving and adapting refusing to be still so that every ending is also a beginning. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Abstract Expressionism Subject: Abstract Width: 23.6 Height: 36.2 Depth: 0.7 Weight: 5.5 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
