Kazak - Carpet - 190 cm - 142 cm - Kazak Oriental rug

Bold red, dark blue and cream give this hand-knotted Kazak Oriental rug its distinctive color impact. Three large geometric medallions divide the interior field: two dark motifs frame a light, cream-colored central medallion. In between, stylized tree motifs, small flowers, stars and rhombuses are scattered on the red ground. A broad cream border with star-shaped floral ornaments and angular pattern elements surrounds the area. Narrow dark accompanying bands pick up the colors of the medallions and emphasize the clear edging. The combination of large geometric shapes and many small motifs makes the rug especially varied in its appearance. The pile and the warp and weft are made of wool. With dimensions of 190 × 142 cm, this rectangular wool rug is particularly suitable for a seating area in front of the sofa or a cozy reading nook. Light upholstered furniture makes the bold colors stand out. A cohesive living image is created with warm wood tones and individual accessories in blue or cream.
