Katarzyna Gatkiewicz (XX) - 35/11/2018

Space is divided into two communicating bands in such a way that the red of one penetrates into the other. Born in Warsaw in 1960, she began her artistic life as a painter from childhood, since art was essential in the heart of her family, with her own father being the one who introduced her. But her adult life focused on the profession of environmental protection engineer, with painting remaining her main hobby. Only in recent years has it become her main activity. Her abstract work creates almost architectural spaces filled with saturated colors. None of her paintings has a title, only a date and the inspiration that contemplation provokes in each viewer. She signs as Mika. Let us enjoy her work.
