karpet - Rug - 345 cm - 268 cm - Moroccan Berber rug.

Monumental Azilal Berber Rug – Majorelle Blue & Ecru – 100% Wool – 345 × 268 cm Magnificent Azilal Berber rug of very large size, entirely hand-woven in a remote region of the Central High Atlas, in Morocco. This exceptional piece stands out with its abstract patterns in an intense Majorelle blue that contrasts with a natural ivory wool background. Its free, expressive composition evokes a true textile art work, at the intersection of Amazigh tradition and contemporary art. The quality of the wool is remarkable: thick, dense, soft and particularly fluffy. Its generous weaving gives it a striking presence, both visually and to the touch. With its monumental dimensions of 345 × 268 cm, this rug is a centerpiece, ideal for dressing a large living room, a loft, or a contemporary architectural space. It was entirely hand-woven by Iza, a craftswoman from the Azilal province in the Central High Atlas. Each subtle irregularity bears witness to the manual craftsmanship and the unique character of this creation.
