Biography: Jürgen Angeler studied communication and media design, which laid the foundation for his artistic path. He began painting in 2014 and had his first exhibitions. In 2015 followed his first solo exhibition. Since then he has continually developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops followed to date. Special attention is paid by Jürgen Angeler to Informal painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The mix of spontaneity (impulse) and chance (drip painting, squeegee techniques) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension that was built up. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy and Austria.
