Biography: Jürgen Angeler studied communication and media design, which laid the foundation for his artistic path. He began painting in 2014 and had his first exhibitions. In 2015 followed the first solo exhibition. Since then he has continually developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops followed to the present. Special emphasis is placed by Jürgen Angeler on Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The blend of spontaneity (impulses) and chance (drip painting, squeegee retreat) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during the process. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria. His paintings are in collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan. Selected exhibitions: - Participation with two paintings at "cosmo GRAFIE" in Rome, Italy. Curated by Eva Czerkl - Involvement in the Elledorado Art Charity at the Schwulen Museum, Berlin (patron: Claudia Roth, Vice President of the Bundestag) - Solo exhibition "Made in Germany" at the Kulturei Mainz (Citadel), Germany
