In folio (40 x 31.5 cm), 133 pages Berlin, Paul Cassirer 1912 slight defects to the cover, some foxing on the endpapers very fine copy of this rare and magnificent work superb illustration and Jugendstil layout Julius Meier-Graefe, born in Reșița on 10 June 1867 and died in Vevey on 5 June 1935, was a German art critic, art historian, publisher, gallerist and writer. Erich Klossowski de Rola, born 19 December 1875 in Ragnit (East Prussia) and died 23 January 1949 in Sanary-sur-Mer (Var), is a German art historian and painter naturalized French. He is the father of Pierre Klossowski and of Balthus.
