Jugendstil Tile - Manufactures Céramiques d'Hemixem...

Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Manufactures Céramique d'Hemixem, Gilliot & Cie, Hemiksem, Belgium. The tile was made around 1905. The floral decoration is in relief, created using the dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is pressed under high pressure into a mold. The tile is in good condition, with only a glaze defect at the top; see the images. The back is marked with an H referring to the location of the factory in Hemiksem. I package the tile with great care, I ship via PostNL, all packages with a track & trace number.
