JR - Action in Shanghai, Shi Li, Work in progress

Produced in 2015, Action in Shanghai forms part of a series dedicated to capturing the memory of cities through the faces of their oldest residents. Through large-scale photographic portraits, JR highlights the traces of time, both on individuals and on the urban environment. Réalisé en 2015, Action in Shanghai s’inscrit dans une série consacrée à la mémoire des villes à travers les visages de leurs habitants les plus âgés. Par le biais d’un portrait photographique à grande échelle, JR met en lumière les traces du temps, tant sur les individus que sur l’environnement urbain.
