Johnny Cash Twice-Signed Hotel Receipt

Unusual New York Hilton room service receipt signed twice by Johnny Cash, once on the front and again on the reverse. Dated October 5, 1963, the receipt records a room service order charged to Room 3715. The date is particularly interesting, as Cash performed at New York's Grand Ballroom at Manhattan Center on October 5 and 6, placing him in New York at precisely the time this hotel receipt was issued. Immediately afterward, Cash traveled overseas for an October tour of Ireland, accompanied by June Carter and his band. The signatures have been reviewed by noted music autograph expert Roger Epperson and deemed likely authentic. Estimate $400 - $800
