JAPAN. Yen, Year 45 (1912). Osaka Mint. Mutsuhito (Meiji). PCGS MS-65+. KM-Y-A25.3; JNDA-01-10A; JC-09-10-2. A nearly pristine and highly attractive Yen, bearing radiant swirling luster and an exacting strike to the dragon. VERY SCARCE in this elite quality, this example tied with one other for the grade in the PCGS census, with only a single example certified finer by PCGS and five examples certified finer by NGC. Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
