Jacques Selosse

Jacques Selosse La Côte Faron is an Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru Champagne, crafted exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the “lieu-dit” of the same name in Aÿ Grand Cru. In this “cuvée”, the star is the Pinot Noir from Aÿ, shaped by a specific plot defined by its steep slope, southern exposure, and chalky (“craie”) soil. La Côte Faron also holds a unique place within the Selosse range. It is crafted using a “réserve perpétuelle” (perpetual reserve) established in 1994, which allows harvests from different years to coexist, highlighting the enduring identity of the site rather than the characteristics of any single vintage. Rated 97/100 points by Parker. The bottle has been stored in a private cellar under proper, controlled conditions of temperature and humidity. The fill level and the condition of the capsule are perfect. There is a minor flaw—the front label is slightly wrinkled—but it remains fully legible, and the quality of the wine has not been compromised.
