The vivid period color printing clearly distinguishes the political factions of the time: • In Yellow/Orange: The territories of the Duchy of Milan under the rule of the King of Spain (the Milanese, the Lodesan, the Cremonese). • In Green/Aquamarine: The Terraferma domains of the Most Serene Republic of Venice (the Bergamasque, the Brescians, and the strategically enclave of the Cremasco).
