Medieval Islamic Bronze Ring with Geometric Bezel – 9th to 12th Century AD A Medieval Islamic bronze ring featuring a broad circular bezel decorated with a striking arrangement of deeply incised intersecting lines, creating an abstract geometric composition characteristic of the decorative vocabulary used across the medieval Islamic world. The simple hoop contrasts with the oversized flat bezel, while the irregular hand-cut engraving and naturally aged surface give the piece a strong archaeological character. The geometric decoration may have served as a personal or symbolic device rather than a readable inscription, and the overall construction is consistent with Islamic copper-alloy rings produced across Persia and Central Asia between approximately the 9th and 12th Century AD.
