You are bidding here on a vintage pair of Ysmen table lamps by Ingo Maurer GmbH, designed in 1998 by Dagmar Mombach, Ingo Maurer and team as part of the MaMo Nouchies series. Each lamp features a sculptural, pleated paper shade on a slender metal and stainless-steel structure with a black base. The organic, expressive design combines delicate paper with a minimalist frame. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Ingo Maurer (1932–2019) was a German lighting designer known for imaginative, poetic lamps and light installations. He founded Design M in Munich in 1966 and developed many of his designs in close collaboration with his team. Ysmen was designed in 1998 with Dagmar Mombach, whose handmade paper-shaping technique gives the MaMo Nouchies collection its distinctive sculptural character. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
