In the style of Irena Jaworska - Wall mirror- sun - Lead

Elegant gilded lead sun mirror, attributed to Irena Jaworska, associate designer in Line Vautrin’s decorative universe, France, circa the 1960s. The composition is particularly expressive: a succession of irregular, deeply molded rays surrounds the central mirror, creating a remarkable play of light and relief. An inner crown punctuated with small green elements adds a discreet and precious touch of color to the whole. The metalwork, intentionally textured, together with the patinated gilding give this piece a highly sculptural presence. The artisanal character of the execution, the irregularities of the modeling, and the natural patina reinforce its aesthetic typical of French decorative arts of the second half of the 20th century. This mirror has a strong decorative personality and fits perfectly within the world of French jewelry mirrors and sun mirrors from the 1950s-1960s, now especially appreciated by design and decorative arts enthusiasts. Exterior details: 30 cm in diameter; the mirror itself 15 cm in diameter Object: wall mirror / sun mirror Attribution: Irena Jaworska Period: circa 1960 Origin: France Material: gilded lead Decor: green glass elements embedded around the mirror Style: French decorative arts / mid-20th century design Condition: good overall condition given its age, with patina, small marks, and irregularities consistent with its age and artisanal manufacture. Photographs are an integral part of the description and allow precise appreciation of the condition, patina, and manufacturing details.
