Ibis - Piero de Longhi - Table lamp - Gigia - Metal, Textile - Italian Design

Historic table lamp “Gigia,” designed by Piero de Longhi and produced in Italy in the 1970s. A classic example of Italian vintage design and Made in Italy industrial production, the lamp combines a clean geometric silhouette with a striking contrast between its vibrant green structure and the warm diffuser in dirty white fabric. The lamp has a cubic shape measuring about 30×30 cm, with a lightweight metal frame finished with bright green paint. The diffuser is clad in dirty white fabric finished with a live-cut edge. This original detail enhances the lamp’s authentic vintage character and gives it a distinctive graphic look. Compact and exceptionally light, the Gigia lamp by Piero de Longhi can be easily integrated into a variety of interiors. It performs best as a desk lamp, but also as a bedside lamp, a table lamp in the living room, or as an accent at the entrance, adding a warm decorative touch without cluttering the space. Its essential geometric shape makes it particularly suitable for modern, vintage, Mid-Century Modern, and Italian design interiors. It can be used both as ambient lighting and as a decorative collectible for lovers of 1970s Italian design. The lamp has been used exclusively for display and is in perfectly working order. It retains the original cord about 1 meter long and the original Schuko 16A plug. Suitable for Italian 220V electrical supply.
